Foreign Language Typesetting and DTP

Foreign-language typography requires more than having the typefaces with the correct accents. Respect for the typographic rules and conventions of the target country, as well as for the original design, taking into account the intended purpose of the document, requires a trained specialist who understands the target language in question and is trained in the constraints and possibilities of typography.

I combine my experience as a translator / proof reader with my degree and 9 years of experience in design & typography. Be it a business card or consumer technology documentation, I will match the layout of the original following the ideas of the target language.
